PIVX CORE v5.5 RC1 (Testnet Only)
The soon to be released PIVX Core client v5.5 will be mandatory with the network upgrade enforcement to happen before next 20th Jan, before block 3715200, thus before the new rewards rate increase (as previously announced, here).
At that point, anybody using any Core client prior to v5.5 will have to upgrade or they'll be forking.
If you'd like to test the new version (on Testnet only), you can do it right now by heading to Github and downloading the right version for your operating system.
