PIVX CORE v5.5 RC1 (Testnet Only) The soon to be released PIVX Core client v5.5 will be mandatory with the network upgrade enforcement to happen before next 20th Jan, before block 3715200, thus before the new rewards rate increase (as previously announced, here). At that point, anybody using any Core client prior to v5.5 will have to upgrade or they'll be forking. If you'd like to test the new version (on Testnet only), you can do it right now by heading to Github and downloading the right version for your operating system. #PIVXWallet

REWARDS SET TO INCREASE END OF JANUARY With the new economic model, which was proposed last May (see here) and confirmed last June (see here), been worked on and the new Core client v5.5 ready to be deployed, the core developers have proposed to set the new mandatory consensus starting from block 3715200, which should occur around 20th Jan 2023 (see here). This means that soon you will see the availability of the new Core client v5.5, which is a mandatory update, and the deadline of such update (aka enforcement) will happen at the aforementioned block. In simple words, block 3715200 will be the first blockchain block with the increased reward structure (see picture). #PIVXWallet

EVERYONE!!! Long time PIVian Nix did quite a bit of planning and legwork to get ready to launch a new PIVX Ambassador program. We kinda wanted to wait until some key pieces of the puzzle were ready, including MyPIVXwallet.org in multiple languages, and able to run on testnet, along with v5.5 released. We are not quite there yet, but almost! But, Murphy's Law has prevailed, and Nix is slammed with non-crypto 'life stuff'. So, he needs to hand-off this role for someone else to take the lead. Nix is happy to do a 'brain dump' and others on the Core Team are happy to provide support too. We just need someone new to take the Lead and do the bulk of the work. We've got a high-level plan, that can be used as a start. Or, if you've got you own ideas, we would love to hear that too. Goal is to have you ready ASAP, so that you can launch when the v5.5 wallet launches too. Please DM me if this sounds like a role you would be interested in!
